CSUN Senior Design Project: UWB Antennas

During my collaboration on a small satellite project, I focused on designing a four-arm sinuous antenna, operating over a wide frequency range with circular polarization. I achieved a reflection coefficient of less than -6 dB across its 3.5 to 7.5 GHz bandwidth, a maximum gain of 6.4 dB, and an axial ratio below 3 dB. Additionally, I designed, simulated, and tested a two-arm version, comparing performance and optimizing the final design. My work showcases my antenna design skills, team collaboration abilities, and understanding of satellite communications systems, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of our testing environment in the process.
